Back To Basics

I've been gone from this site for awhile. Life got busy, went through surgery, raising a teen, husband got laid off etc. I've been off track with my eating for awhile and need & want to loose this weight and be healthy. One thing is, this site can be overwhelming at times because there is so much to it. I need to get back to the basics and have simplicity. I've made up my low-carb eating plan and put it on my frig. I'm getting more exercise because we recently got a dog and I'm walking the dog daily. I don't think I'll use the food tracker because i"m already keeping track of my eating plan and don't really have hate extra time it take to put everything into the food tracker area so I'm just going to check in at least once a week to blog, chat with friends and read some articles. I need to keep everything simple. My life is complicated enough without adding a huge, complicated diet and tracking system. So, here I am again.

    Glad to see you back. I, too, was overwhelmed this spring when I found SparkPeople. Now I have more of an idea of how it works I am using it to meet my needs. I stopped tracking everything off-line because it was duplication and didn't give me the information the Nutrition Tracker here does. Instead I am going to track here and print off the results...as soon as I figure out how to connect a Windows based printer to a Mac laptop via a home network! Best of luck with your weight loss!
