Be truly grateful for what you have...

Sunday, September 12, 2010

It's so easy to get caught up in the day to day stresses of life..What to eat, what not to eat, when to exercise...what to wear...who said what...Then, someone gives you news about one of their struggles and you suddenly put things into perspective..
My neighbor just informed me his wife has been diagnosed with melanoma..and she is already trying to recover from major heart surgery..Why is it some people seem to be given more challenges to overcome than others?
It's news like this that makes me take a step back and realize just what is really important in life..be grateful for what you have ...every day,..learn to love yourself..love your family and friends ..and tell them / show them everyday...because we just never know what might be around the corner..
My thoughts are with you E & L ....

So very, very true, Shelley! Every moment we are given, we need to be grateful, really relish every second of of every moment because we never know when it will all end or be taken from us. Life is beautiful and miraculous and we need to stop and remember that, every day, all the time. It is so easy to take for granted with how crazy busy the world is around us. Keeping them in my prayers as well!

I could not agree with you more!!!

I am the worlds worst about complaining and moaning about insignificant things in my life, while there are people struggling to survive on a day to day basis

Thanks for reminding me of this
