You are right and it's good you see that! Just start out small and smile and say Hello, how are you? Over ten years ago, I used to be very very shy. So shy that I left a dinner at a leadership organization because I felt everyone was looking at me and no one wanted to talk to me. If you will think about what you can do to help others, it may help you take your mind off of yourself. Try it! Talk to others about them instead of thinking about you! Let me know how it works! I agree with Glittermama! You can do it!!

You should stop being shy! I know it isn't easy but there are two times in my life I can remember that I stepped out of my comfort zone and just introduced myself to two strangers. One of them ended up being my husband and the other a life long friend. My life would of been so different if I hadn't been brave those days. :o)
You never know who you might meet if you just say HI!! emoticon
