Burning calories...

Tuesday, September 07, 2010

Thank you for commenting on my last entry SALEE100.
I don't think I have Gout. I'm not in constant pain...nor is it really painful. My big toe just aches from time to time when I walk. I think it might be an inflamed tendon or something that seems easily treated with an ibprofen.

Well, I had my second volunteer training session. It was a lot of hard work that took 4 hours to do. Not sure how I would count the calories burned from that, but I'm sure it was a lot. Scrubbing cages was probably the most calories consuming activity. I also swept and mopped the floor, as well as taking out and putting stuff in cages. There were other things I did, but my mind is drawing a blank right now.

We also walked down to the pharmacy to pick up some meds for the dog. It was roughly 1.6 miles....or maybe more. There were hills involved, and I was huffing and puffing at one point. Though, that could've been due to the hot sun that seemed to bear down on us as we walked.

Anyway, we might go for another walk later. Either way, I hope you are well.

Take Care!

I'm glad you don't have gout! I love that kind of exercise (working)! It's the easiest to do, and amazing to see the burn at the end of the day.
