The 7th day

The 7th day
and no I am not resting
I am not really down in weight even though I met most of my goals for the september challenge message board.
I missed one day after work not exercising other then that I have stuck to my calories, increased my protein and fiber
I added daily push ups increasing by one per day up to 11 now
I've walked 3 miles on my days off
did zumba twice
yoga tonight
so whats wrong with me
on 8/31 I weighed 156
9/1 first day of the challenge I weighed 158
today I weigh 157
I was hoping to get below the 156 ( which I did weigh before and for several days )
Well, I not giving up

Today is another day and I am staying on track.
I'll give another update on the 14th day

    Blame that damn thyroid of yours!!!!! You're working so hard- keep it up. I need to hike, or walk, or huff and puff a few steps somewhere this week. Drs. orders!!! I'll call you. Maybe we can get a spark group support group/walk together!!! emoticon

    I'm so glad you are not giving up. There is a determination in this blog that I love (and aspire to have). I was quite sick in the spring and put a lot of muscle back on this summer and the scale reflected the extra weight. But that is good weight! Strong weight! Think about that as you add those push ups!

    One pound a week is perfect! A half a pound a week is fine, too! I have done that long enough that I have lost 25 pounds. It's been slow but it has worked. DON'T GIVE UP! Stay on your program, drink lots of water, and soon you will like what you are seeing on your scale. Don't forget to measure yourself also. Not all of your progress shows up on your scale only.

    Thanks for reading my blog today. Be happy with your minus of a pound! At least it was not the same or a gain! I can hear the words of my autistic stepson Dominic saying "Don't give up!'. One week one pound not bad. And I see you are keeping very close to your steps for achievement, woohoo! SP recommends a weight lose of 1 to 2 pounds per week, so you are in line with that goal. Feel proud of yourself, your scale is going in the right direction. One last time: "Don't give up!!!"

    Everyone loses weight at a different pace. Also, your body will hold on to more water at first because it's not quite sure what's going on with all the exercise and good food! I bet you'll see a loss next week as long as you stay on track. Keep it up! emoticon

    Everyone loses weight differently. I've gone back to weighing myself daily and I think I'm literally going to go insane with the yo-yo effect. Plus, if we started on September 1st, technically we get until tomorrow to post our weight, right? So....there's always today!! :)

    Keep your head up and continue with the exercise and healthy eating.....it will payoff in the long run!
