A subtle change

I had a couple of days of heavy eating (as I posted in one of my teams, if you see Eat, Pray, Love, be prepared - you may end up at the nearest Italian restaurant with a plate of pasta in one fist and a glass of red wine in the other!). This morning I realized I likely won't break into the 130s this week as I'd thought. I'm so surprised at how little I feel discouraged. I know if I don't hit it this week, I'll hit it next. That means I fully expect to be doing this next week: it really is becoming a lifestyle and not my latest kick. That feels GREAT.

    What a great attitude! I feel the same - I enjoy my life, I enjoy eating and drinking! But I also get a lot of satisfaction from achieving fitness and health goals -- balancing the two is the trick, isn't it! emoticon
