Has anyone ever heard of this? Used it? My sister told me about this yesterday, and I looked it up online to see the nutrional benefits etc, and went out to bulk barn last night and got some to try. I used 1/2 tsp in my oatmeal this morning, and it didnt make it taste any different.

My question is - what are the negative side effects? I read about some online today, and now I'm kind of worried about taking it. I know that differnet things can affect people differently, but if you've tried it - what's your experience with it? Has anyone heard of really bad things happening? Does anyone know more about this? Or how much you should take a day? Any information would help please!

It's supposed to boost your energy (and libido!), and even our your hormones so that TOM is more manageable! That all sounds great, right? Well - I would like to make sure before I continue taking this.

Thanks everyone!!

Thanks for blogging about maca. I had never heard of it, but just did a little research. It appears to be nutritionally good for you, almost as a super food. I'd love to find some that isn't in supplement form and try it as a veggie.

I'll definitely keep my eyes and ears open to health news, blogs, as well as the responses to your blog.

    Have a great weekend,

I don't see any bad reviews on it...I never heard of it but if it helps TOM...I'd be up to try it...can't wait to see what people post on it...if you don't get a lot of feedback try asking the question on a message board!

I've never heard of it - but I'm replying because I want to see the responses. It sounds interesting, but like you, I'd be concerned about the health effects... it sounds promising!
