My 50 Pound Challenge Group just had its September 1 weigh in. I was at the same weight as I was on July 1--and only two pounds less than my Spark start on June 17. This is despite a perfect record of drinking 8 glasses of water each day (a VERY big accomplishment and BIG change in my life), better eating habits, perfect attendance on this site, and all of the nutritional information I've learned while Sparking and integrated into my daily decision making. With so little change in a month and a half, this was clearly not my first disappointing weigh in.
BUT my lack of progress at the scale did not put me in a tailspin as it had in the past. I politely thanked my scale for sharing, recorded my weight, and carried on. Why bother fussing? I'm feel better (oh, my digestive tract likes Sparking a lot!!!!!), look better, sleep better, and know that I am doing the right things. I enjoy seeing what my Spark pals are up to each day. Spark on!
