slow and steady wins the race right?

ya i think so....i need to know that i am healthy and that is whats most important.my weight loss is slowing down due to 2 things 1) the less weight i have to lose the slower it will come off 2) i was making a habit out of eating cereal every single night. So i have a little less than 2 months till i go to the bahamas and a little over a month till i turn 30 (just sayin) cause yes these are great motivators but the habits i am creating will be a lifetime practice i know.i weighed in yesterday and lost 5 pounds in 5 weeks. i lost 2 inches in my hips in 5 weeks! that was exciting to hear though i knew stuff was happening cause the way my clothes were fitting.
so here is where i dont strive for MORE MORE MORE and instant gratification by going balls to the wall and getting all diet crazy. i am going to praise myself for the hard work i have done and the progress i have made and i am going to replace the cereal with grapefruit with a little sugar on top.
on a side note i enjoyed a blizzard from dairy queen on sunday and it was delicious and felt victorious! the last time i ate one of those was when i was binging hardcore in my eating disorder. i know a small one has about 800 calories but thats okay. i eat well most of the time and i am more than welcome to eat that stuff sometimes! i rock i am going to keep on my slow and steady train and be kind and loving to myself!
