BLC - Day Three - WT?@?#*!

Day three went okay for me, I did log everything I ate (more on that below) and I got my water in! Skipped the stretches and such today, but plan to get back to it tomorrow for sure!

So I did great all day with eating, until I got to dinner time. I didn't feel hunger pains, but I had this overwhelming desire to eat something filling and cheesy. So I proceeded to make tacos. I know I could figure out how to have tacos that weren't as bad as normal, but I didn't want to figure it out. So I had them as I always do and figured out the calories later.

WHOA. I was shocked. I put in everything I ate for the day and when I was done I scrolled down to see how many calories, etc my taco dinner was... wwwwayyyyy too much! Like, a days worth of calories!

So.. bummer! Slowly but surely I will get used to this planning and preparing meals thing - I'm so lazy at it, just wanting to grab whatever is quickest and shove it in my face. Guess that's what got me here in the first place though!

That's okay though, I am really trying to go slow so that I don't look at days like today and want to quit. It's a journey, right? :)

Random question for anyone reading this - For exercise, I want to log my stretching, etc, but the only options I see are Strength Training or Cardio - is there a way to log stretching minutes? I want to have minutes, but am not doing strength or cardio for the next couple weeks. Your help would be greatly appreciated!

    I agree with the post below, if stretching is your exercise, go with yoga (you can find it in the "cardio tracking" section.) Also, good attitude about not giving up. When I want something "cheesy and filling" I like to make grilled cheese. Even if you have butter (margarine is better and just use about 1 tsp or less per piece of bread) it is not too bad. Just use whole wheat bread and light cheese and make sure to have some veggies or fruit on the side! Keep working at it, you'll get it! Go twos!

    I usually just add it to whatever i'm doing that day. For example, when I stretch before getting on the treadmill for 30 minutes, I just add the time to it. since it isn't usually more than a minute I don't think it makes that much a difference. If stretching is your exercise I would go with yoga :)
