What supplements do you take & why?

Just curious about what supplements everyone is taking and what they're reason is. I love to read about supplements and how they can do amazing things for our bodies.

I take:
A multi-vitamin, Calcium, Vitamin D (5,000 IU), CLA, Hair Skin & Nails Supplement, B Complex, Fish Oil and a Maximum Antioxidant Formula.

    Ohh. Good question. I'm researching supplements too, to see what could help me. I get major PMS (mood swings, cramps, tired, depressed) From what I've found I need B6 (and Vit C, E, and D to metabolize it). Probably calcium and zinc (these levels are always low on my tracker). I get major chocolate cravings and when I eat a little bit of dark chocolate it helps with cramps. Apparently this can be due to a lack in magnesium - chocolate is a source. Who knew! I take 1-2tsp of fish oil a day for EFAs, cinnamon to help control my appetite, and usually a scoop of whey protein.

    I'm looking into multis and Vit D too.

    My doctor has me take 1500mg of immediate release Niacin (nicotinic acid) at bed time and 1000mg of flax seed oil with meals (when I can remember to) to lower my triglycerides.

    I did manage to lower them from around 250 to 150.

    Both my family doctor and my orthopedic surgeon told me to take glucosamine condroitin so I take that as well.

    I take prenatal, niacin, and then several other meds.
