I start off strong...

My mornings feel so productive, but after lunch I feel the slump setting in. I start out with my cardio which could include walking, running, cycling or swimming. That makes me feel so good, like I could move mountains and tackle any challenge the day puts before me.
Since I work at home - although that could change after my job interview on Thursday - I am very flexible. Which is the best benefit this job offers. I can get busy when that slump starts by moving - doing laundry, housework, mow the grass if the hot Florida sun is not too intense - so I have been able to work around this daily cycle. Of course when business was better I barely felt the slump because my work kept me focused and moving and active, even if it was only mentally. Business has been slow which is why I finally started applying for outside work, part time so that I can still do my own business when it ever picks up again.
But food - the afternoon slump includes time to eat! NOT GOOD! So I really need to keep busy with something to keep my hands from putting food into my mouth. I really do eat more when I find myself idle.
Goals for today -
refer to that TO DO LIST i make each morning - get another task done
prepare a healthy dinner - oops that's already on the list.
brush my shaggy dog - he needs it.
start that weight lifting routine I keep telling myself I will start
Track every morsel I eat
which is how i got started on this blog - do 60 grams of Wheat thins really cost 310 calories?
It looks like only salad for dinner -
okay - I am outta here. Got a dinner to prep! Dogs to brush! Food to not eat!
