Finally catching up to me.

Tuesday, August 31, 2010

So the weight seems to finally be catching up with all my bad eating. I feel so bloated, so much bigger, and my pants are tight again!

I'm so mad at myself for always letting myself go back to that place. I ruin all my progress. And the worst part is that for some reason this time around it is way harder for me to get back on track. I don't know why but I can't seem to stop wanting to eat eat eat and eat bad foods! Maybe cause things are extra stressful right now, how they haven't been in a while and I can't seem to control my emotional eating.

This week I started to try again and I'm doing so so so. I'm eating less and counting calories as best as I can but I'm still not eating the healthiest that I could or should. But atleast I started to do some exercise. Hopefully I can make it atleast through this week. My hubby was ready to buy wings for tonight's dinner but I made sure to tell him a BIG NO! I told him to please not do that atleast this week while I'm trying to get back on track!

Well that's what's going on here! Hope you guys are doing way better than me!

I miss you amiga...one day, one step, one breath, one issue...at a time. Seriously, just make little changes to your eating patterns and then continue with your exercises....this is a lifelong adventure we are on...you made a pitstop, now come and rejoin your supporters....we are better when you are in our world.... emoticon

I've been there myself. Just keep making any changes you can & eventually you'll be back full-swing. It's hard to keep going when you feel like that, but just keep thinking about the progress you've made so far.

You know hun the fact that you are trying again is what's really important; the fact that you know what's going on and why you do it. What you are saying sounds so much like what I was doing before I joined the Spark's family. And, it is not easy but recognizing what you need to do is the biggest step you can take. I hope you can get hubby to kind of "hang in there" with you and recognize how much this means to you. Sunny is right too, small steps and in just a few days you will feel the difference and hopefully you will just keep on "trekking"; one day at a time. emoticon

Starting over is very hard. I've done it a thousand times or so it seems. Sometimes it just taking the right steps. For me it is easiest to focus on just a few things first and then find a good ACTIVE spark team. First I focus on drinking 8 glasses of water and doing 50 crunches each day. Than I add one salad a day and the rest seems to fall in place. When it all goes sour again, then I just start in the same place. works well for me. I've had to do it many times already.

Start back with baby steps and you'll get yourself back on track. It just take 3 good days and it'll seem easier. emoticon emoticon

Hang in there, chica. Maybe try not to change everything all at once. Pick one little thing and focus on that for a week, then pick another one the week after that. You can do it, just don't overwhelm yourself with ideals. You're here and blogging, and that's a start!
