Another new development!

SO. In an effort to get off of this freaking plateau that I've been on since APRIL (not bitter at all!) I JOINED A GYM!

I've been pretty anti-gym this whole time because I hate having to pay to exercise. It never fit into our budget, but since I'm working this extra position this year I'm pulling in some extra income, so we found a way to make it work. The elliptical worked for so long and it's a good workout. Well, 3 years is enough of that, I guess. So my body is done with that. Now I joined a gym that's literally 3 blocks away that has free childcare and it's pretty much the best gym ever. I'm super excited to get into some water aerobics, zumba, and spinning again!! I'm going tomorrow to my first water aerobics class. I'm totally psyched. It feels so good to be excited about exercising again!! I am feeling very optimistic about the future of my weight loss :)

That is great news! Nothing like new surroundings and people to spark up your work outs. I loved the classes my old gym offered, so inspiring. Zumba - how fun. I took one class of that and loved it, but they don't offer it here. Actually thought about getting certified to teach it but haven't worked up the courage yet.

Congrats! The Zumba sounds fun. I joined a gym with my sister 1.5 years ago, mostly because she talked me into it. My best advice is get your husband or a friend to meet you there and keep you accountable on a regular basis. This has worked really well for us.
