I got up early this morning, and by early I mean the time I should get up to have time for breakfast and to make my lunch, not actually early lol. I had an hour to get ready for work. It's nice not having to rush lol. It's so hard for me because I LOVE sleeping in. I'm going to make it a habit to get up early, even earlier than today but I'm gong to ease into it over the weekend lol.
This morning I tried out my new Wii game, Your Shape. I only did a 15 min workout and I really enjoyed it. I plan to do a short 15 minute workout every morning with it now. My living room rug does slide around too much though. After a lot of thinking I have come up with a fairly cheap solution that won't ruin my floor. I don't want any marks left on the floor as it I do have a hard wood floor that is quite nice, I just wanted some soft space in my apartment, and it looks good ^_^ Anyway, I'm going to a couple yoga mats underneath to keep it from slipping. I tried it with mine today and it worked great but I'll need another one. Plus, when I want to take my yoga mat anywhere, which isn't very often I suck at yoga lol, I can just take it out from under the rug. When I'm done school and can afford a little more I plan to use some double sided tape to permanently attach the yoga mats to the rug and get a nice new one for myself. I want to get into yoga eventually but I always feel too intimidated to go to a class. I've set the Heavyweight Yoga DVDs as one of my rewards if you missed my last blog.
