Day 59: Sending healing and loving vibes......

Wednesday, August 25, 2010

There is a motivating spark team, that sends "skinny vibes" to their team mates and other Sparkers. I love receiving them because it is nice to know that someone is thinking about you and wishing you well.

For the past couple of months, I have been reading and re-reading Marianne Williamson's book called "Everyday Grace". In the book, she talks about taking time to think about people or events and sending light and love vibe because when you send out love that is when miracles happen.

So, I am sending healing and loving vibes to:

emoticon 20 million Pakistanis affected by the floods
emoticon People in the Gulf area who are still dealing with the oil and Katrina clean-ups
emoticon The 200 women and children, in the Congo, who were raped by rebels
emoticon People across the US that are experiencing horrible flooding
emoticon People, in Moscow, who are enduring horrible heat and smog
emoticon Miners trapped in Chile
emoticon US troops serving around the world
emoticon People in Iraq and Afghanistan that encounter so much violence and uncertainty in their daily lives

emoticon People, in the US, who have lost their jobs and feel depressed
emoticon Haitian people who are slowly trying to rebuild their country
emoticon The US and world economies
emoticon Those people who have little but still give

I just love this! What a gracious spirit you have. I add my thoughts and prayers to yours. Vibes work!

My Mom, who is terrified to pray aloud for some reason, told me she always ends her prayer with a blessing for "every Mothers child".

When I was little and would pray for others...for my mom, my dad, my brother, my friend Patti, the lady was always a bit hard to know where to stop....and I would usually end with "and everyone else"

Wishing well for others is something that thankfully needn't be done in moderation. I join you in your good wishes and hope for great outcomes and glorious miracles.
