Time to get serious....

Wednesday, August 25, 2010

After my great race on Sunday - it's time to get serious. I have been very happy that the last 4 days have been rainy. My hamstrings have been REALLY tight, and I haven't felt like running, but tomorrow the sun comes back and teh boys and I will hit the trail.

I also found a great challenge to join on Spark, and am signed up and ready to go....1st weigh in is in the whatever the scale says - it says, and that is the beginning....

I have eaten horribly today - up until dinner - it was nothing but chocolate chip cookies....I did try to combat that with a treadmill run, but the hamstrings gave out after 10 minutes....

Dinner was healthy - turkey kielbasa, fresh corn, fresh cucumbers, 1% milk and 1/4 cup of Scalloped potatoes....

Somehow I managed to stay w/in most of my ranges for the day ---- but I know it was not a healthy day at all.....

Don't look back the good thing is you realized what you were eating and adjusted, that is awesome you recognized it, alot of the times we don't and just feel the guilt and continue the horrible eatz. Great job on you run as well. I look forward to being able to walk/run soon ;)
