feeling pain today

Tuesday, August 24, 2010

Well, today I seem to be having pain on the left side. I think I did too much at work yesterday. But, I've also had problems going to the bathroom this week with the addition of some new meds my doc put me on for acid. I'm on Nexium and another med to take before meals.
Work has really left me tired every day. I did learn that I'm going to have to take my lunch away from my desk in order to relax. I usually eat at my desk which is distracting for me since I have so many interruptions.
I'm also having issues with my mom who is elderly and still thinks she can live alone. That stresses me too. AND, i have not been able to take my prozac because it makes me sick. I have called my doctor for the last two days with no help on that. I just asked that they change it to tablets so i can cut them up in tiny pieces so I can swallow them without tasting them.

Well, i'm sorry if i sound grumpy. I am just tired.

I hope you feel better! It will get better soon. I still have my days...heck...we are about at the same spot because my surgery was only a week before yours. Hang in there, each day gets better. emoticon

You definitely have a lot going on and it's okay to be Grumpy. Most of us are at one time or another. I have found it makes the second half of my day go MUCH better if a take a short walk around outside after I've eaten lunch. It doesn't have to be much. Five minutes will work in a pinch. There's just something about that small dose of sunshine (maybe it's the Vitamin D - *LOL*) that acts as an instant pick-me-up. Good luck with your meds & your mom! emoticon
