The Stress Busting Challenge: Day 3

Ok, I'm horrible at getting in a daily blog, but I'm holding myself to it cause if I let up one day I'll really start to slide. Grrr

The past day wasn't too bad--things were quiet at work for the most part--we got quite a bit accomplished and had some time for the things that have to wait--tidying up the office, working on the refrigerator, etc. For some reason it was a very sleepy day--all of us in the office were yawning. I'm not complaining though, we have our quiet days and days when it is non-stop adrenaline and the crash that comes afterwards.

For some reason I snacked ALL DAY yesterday. I usually eat through the day but not that much unless I'm hiking (when I eat CONSTANTLY). It was mostly healthy food though--things like granola and yogurt and not the cookies which were calling my name.

Leaving work I was going over things with my niece to make sure she was ready to go back to school today. We never really know quite what she'll need until her teachers tell her--I wasted some money last year thinking to get it all done ahead of time. I'll be taking her list and going to shop for the things she needs after classes today.

I keep going over my schedule in my head--It seems I have a class each weekend for quite a while. This weekend is the ICS 400-- not something big to worry about but time consuming, and I have so many things to do at home and this will pretty much take up my entire weekend. To combat this stress.... well, I haven't figured one out except one day at a time.

At home, my niece seemed to be feeling better and had gotten some rest. The deer and the kitten were getting along great and I spent a while playing with them before I went up to my house. We did some chores and laid out plans for the rest of the week. Right now we are both just striving for a bit of normalcy.

My dh was at the other house last night keeping an eye on the cats there. My siamese who hurt his leg the other night seems to have taken up faking an injury for sympathy--he's hobbling around half the time on the uninjured leg and if he doesn't know you're watching he'll hop right up on stuff like there's nothing wrong with him! lol

I need to get back to my rowing machine--I've been slacking off on it, but I've been doing other exercises, trying to "mix it up" a bit.
