This wasn't nearly as bad as W8D1. Thankfully. We didn't get out as early as we'd hoped, so it was hot as heck out there! Gross. Luckily it rained yesterday so the humidity was a little better.
I think the circuit training we've been doing on non-run days has really helped. Every day I have a different muscle (or muscles) thats hella sore, but I kinda like that part- it lets me know I'm getting stronger. The stronger muscles seem to help with the running because I have more endurance and more power.
Unfortunately, I think I'm at a "worse before it gets better" stage. I guess I thought that by now I'd be running with a lot more ease. But its still hard. In a lot of ways it feels like my fitness level is going backwards. I told my partner that and she just laughed. She said that I get better every time, but I just don't realize it. That was definitely nice to hear! Its extremely helpful to have her perspective because I tend to lose mine a lot, haha.
I will admit that its frustrating. But I've never skipped a day, repeated a day, or stopped during a run....so I think thats pretty darn good.
