Happy New Year!

So, I get on the scale first thing Monday morning to get a starting point for 2007. I am bummed that I am up 5 pounds! I wasn't perfect during the holidays, but thought I had done better than that. I swear it was that stupid pumpkin pie - even made with Splenda and egg substitute. I have to have it every year, but I am the only one who likes it, so I end up eating it all myself. At least this time I just ate the innards of the last half-pie. Figured that would be healthier than eating all the crust.

I have really pushed the water the last few days though - and getting on the scale this morning I was already down .6 pounds, so hopefully I am back on track. Today I jump on the treadmill and get the exercise portion of my plan for healthy living going. Wish I could think of a more fun way of getting my cardio - walking is so boring, even in front of the TV or with my favorite tunes...

    Good luck reaching your goals this year. I too gained between 3-5lbs since Thanksgiving but it was all worth it. Now I'm ready to re-committ to my goals! We can do this together!!!!!

    New cardio, try dancing, or skipping. I constantly try to move around. I bounce my leg at my desk, be-bop while getting ready in the morning and step whenever I am standing in place. It all adds up they say...lol.

    When the Yanks come back, try stepping in place during an inning.
