Fat Smash Detox Day 9: The FINISH LINE!!

Today was a pretty good day.

Breakfast was a serving of Steel Cut Oatmeal with apples and cinnamon some honey and some low fat high protein milk all mixed together. It was UTTERLY Delicious and SO filling.

Lunch was Lentil Soup.

For dinner I made something I've never made before.

2 cups of cole slaw mix
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup green peppers
1 clove garlic chopped
1 zucchini chopped
1 yellow squash chopped
1/2 cup vegetable broth
Tony's Seasoning to taste
Put it all in a pot and bring it to a sizzle, stir, reduce heat, and cook on low about 35 minutes until all of the veggies are nice and tender. I had it over brown rice and it was awesome. You get to eat the whole pot of it too. FILLING!

I'm following it all up with 2 cups of watermelon for dessert.

I'm really glad this Detox is over.

Not because I got bored with it or disliked the food, but because I want to eat some grilled chicken breast with my veggies or throw some low fat cheese on my egg white and veggie omelets.

I think I could eat clean like this for the rest of my life. I've felt generally good and full of energy for the past 9 days and my cravings for junk have greatly reduced.

Oh, and I lost 5 pounds in 9 days!! Woot!!

Tomorrow I plan to eat exactly the same as I have been only I get to have cheese with my omelet, and some chicken breast with my veggies for dinner. I don't want to undo all of my progress by eating a bunch of junk.
