Day 45: No Excuses

Recently, I saw the above Nike ad and it made me think of all the excuses that I have made in all aspects of my life- not just exercising. Actually, I think he pretty much hit on every excuse I have used in my lifetime emoticon.

This ad made me realize that excuses are just ways that I have limited myself from reaching my full potential. Which is sad because life is to short for me not to try to live to my full potential everyday.

One of my favorite Spark people is Trainer_T and she always ends her blogs with "No excuses- I make it happen". I am realizing the power of this statement-not just for exercising but in other areas. I plan to make a new vision board and I am going to plant this statement smack dab in the middle of it.

Today, I did 60 min of running/walking. The interval was 1 min walking and 1 min running. This is the first time I have done that interval setting and I was like no way could I have done this on my own. Next week, they are changing the schedule up and I probably will not be able to run with them so I was thinking that I probably will not be doing that interval anymore but now I realize that is just an excuse. Sure it was nice running with a group but if I could do it in a group then I could do it on my own- no excuses VELLE!!!
