Plateau or Not Enough

Okay, so the scale was not very friendly to me this morning. I'm trying to find an excuse for this weight gain. Maybe it's because I'm about to have my period in a week? Or maybe it's from the white rice that I ate yesterday? Well, bottom line is that although I've been exercising moderately, I haven't been logging my food intake like I used to.
So as of today, I'm going back to logging my food. Also, I need to include some form of strength training in my routine. I used to enjoy seeing the weekly drop in numbers. Seeing the increase is not fun!
This girl needs to make progress in this healthy lifestyle adjustment. Hopefully, I'll see some positive results in two weeks! Tips to rev up my metabolism will be appreciated!

    Thank you so much. I have been splitting my food intake and thought I had the portion control down, but when I tracked yesterday, I realized that I ate more fat and carbs than I thought I was eating. Thanks for the tips. I'm trying to vary my workout routine now so hopefully that will work. I was wondering... do you burn more calories when you work out in the mornings? Seems like my morning workouts generate more sweat than my evening exercise...

    Sounds like you know what to do. Track and strength train. It's amazing how far over range you can get if you don't track.
