I Hate Humidity!

I guess I should say that I hate high heat and humidity combined! The effects that it has on me when I mow the lawn, run, weed the garden or get in the car (ugh I really dislike at steamy car!) can really bring me down! I know that I just don't do my best in such weather!

I feel bad railing against the weather because it something universal. Everyone has to put up with quirks in the weather, and everyone who ran today (at least in the area near me) had to put up with a hot steamy mess! I know that some people probably had there best runs ever today (fyi those people are NOT human, they're cyborgs), but I just cannot see how!

There! I did it! I railed on about a subject and probably made no sense what-so-ever! Huzzah! My life is complete!

    Dry heat is SOOOOO much easier to deal with. I hate that soggy, sweaty, sticky feeling! Hang in there, and let that A/C earn its keep!

    I CONCUR!!! Humidity sux !!! That's why I bought a treadmill, it helps a whole lot.

    I think as a society we are getting so used to A/C that we simply can't tolerate things we really should be able to...kids are a perfect example of tolerating heat and humidity!

    Just because we know intellectually that we ought to rise above petty conditions that plague us, it does not necessarilly follow that we're entirely successful in doing so. In fact, I think that by this mini-rant, you've just demonstrated your shared humanity.

    Ugh, I feel you!!! I haven't biked at all this summer and my yard and garden look like crap because it's too danged hot to get out there and do anything :( We've been hiding inside in the AC all summer long!

    I feel bad complaining too - during the winter it's too cold, during the summer it's too hot...I'm never happy apparently! ;)

    I am not a fan of humidity either. It is just one of those things you have to deal with if you run outside. Dry heat is not that much better either. Keep pushing and keep running! Nothing can stop you...not rain....not humidity....NOTHING!

    Makes perfect sense to me. I try hard not to complain but have a very difficult time coping with the heat. I really long to move to someplace cooler but I don't want to leave my family.

    I'm with you! I despise heat and humidity when they're combined! I thrive on cool or cold weather. I'm trying not to let it affect my mood but I'm sure it does at times. Hopefully the weather will cool down soon to give us all a break!
