30 Day Shred: Day 5 (2)

Popped in the ol' DVD this afternoon. It's hot outside, so I'm sweating like a maniac. I also feel like I want to vomit. But I burned some serious calories and am on my way to getting back on track!

Also... I completed a record 18 regular pushups! I went down to about 90 degree elbows. I'm getting very close to my goal of being able to do 20 pushups.
So, for the second set, I dropped down to my knees and did 15. This is much better than when I began doing strength training again in earnest a few months ago.

I'm afraid to weigh myself for another wee. It will probably take about that long to undo the damage. Hopefully there shall be lessons learned.

It just seems like when I fall these days, I fall harder than ever.

I'm meeting a colleague in about 45 minutes for a dinner meeting. It's at a chain cafe, so they have their menu posted online. Israeli restaurants are notorious for being out of things, but it looks like there is a healthy sandwich I could order that is under 400 calories. Or I can order a salad and eat half (they are big) and nix the dressing. I am in the drivers seat.
