This is kind of embarassing. I seem to have injured my tailbone. How, you ask? Why, by sitting on my butt too much! That's what I think, anyway. I certainly didn't fall. I haven't been kicked in the butt lately. But it really really really hurts.

It hurts to the point that I limp when I walk, sometimes I yelp, and I almost always wince. It really sucks! I thought maybe after the first day it would go away, but nope. Today is day 3 and it's still a pain in the @$$. So, my solution was to get off my butt and see if that will help speed the process. I made a challenge for myself in one of my earlier blogs that for "every" (read: when I feel like it) hour that I'm at work I have to get up and move around for 15 minutes of that hour. I work every day from 8a-6pm and if left to my own devices, I certainly will sit on my butt the entire shift.

Shout out to GLMOM2 who asked me yesterday to tell her what I was getting done during my 15 minutes of action, so I was active again today and decided to write down what I was doing.

I didn't get started til 10am because that's when I was alone at work, and when I felt most comfortable moving around like a lunatic. I also stopped at 3 because my boss literally came back at 3:02 and made me start working. I'll probably clean the refrigerator or something at 5. The freezer is kinda dusty.

Anywho, here's what I did!

10:15a-10:30a “Vacuumed” my office and bosses’ office.

11:02a-11:17a “Vacuumed” Empty Office & 2/3 of the Reception Area

12:01p-12:18p “Vacuumed” Drawing Room & ½ of the Conference Room (kept getting interrupted! 3 phone calls + mailman)

1:00p-1:15p SKIPPED! Lunchtime, yeah?

2:02pm-2:22p “Vacuumed” ½ the Conference Room, 1/3 of the Reception Area, Chris’ Office, Bathroom, and Kitchen. Phew!

P.S. I put vacuum in parentheses because it's like a tile vacuum. I've been sweeping for 2 years and I finally decided to take this little guy for a spin and omg I'm in love!

    Your boss probably loves all the extra work you are getting done, is it relieving your discomfort too? I sure hope so, that can be very uncomfortable.
