Still stuck

Monday, August 02, 2010

I just can't seem to get any lower that 209-210. I had been losing steadily until I got close to that magical 200 number. I am down one day & way up the next. I have been working out consistently & just had a fill last week, but the scale is barely moving. What gives? I will keep working the band & hope things start going down in the near future. Just needed to vent. Thanks for listening!

Cathy don't stress out. Just keep doing what you are doing and soon you will see a big drop. Take your measurements. I bet they are going down even if the scale isn't. Just remember the days it is up could be water retention or something as simple as that. You can weigh every day but only have one official weigh in day. I weigh every day as well but the only one I really count is the Monday one.

Don't give up! It will come off. emoticon

I agree, don't get caught up with what the scale says. Weigh yourself only once a week, not every day. Have an official weigh day, (mine is Monday morning) and that is the weight I record. Judge your progress by the way your clothes fit. Measure your waist cuz you can lose an inch or two without losing a pound or two. And last of all don't give up!!! Never give up!!! If you fall or stumble, get right back up and get going again!!

Try not to obsess over numbers on the scale. You're working out, getting fit, and getting healthy. That's what matters.

You'll get there. It may not be as quickly as you would like, but it will happen. emoticon
