Not getting enough calories, fat protein, carbs. Help

I just really discovered, noticed that I am not getting enough of my daily calories, fat, protein carbs, etc; Please help me. I just don't eat enough according to the meet my goals category. I'm totally messing up my metabolism. I am not hungry. I just don't be hungry enough to eat all of my calories. Not Good. emoticon

    emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon all for the advice. I'm taking it to heart. I started a food log. Helping alot, but it is alot of food OMGoodness. emoticon emoticon I really do look at food and say OMGoodness that's alot of food. I'm so use to eating small portions that if I see a big plate of food or a big spread it overwhelms me and I just can't eat. I literally pick over it. At any rate, I am just thankful for you guys for listening and caring enough to comment on my blog. emoticon Your emoticon

    My sister is the same way. She has no appetite. Maybe increased exercise, if you are able, would help. best wishes. Track to see you are getting the most nutrients for every calorie you eat.

    I would have the opposite problem if I allowed myself to, and what I've found helps is to plan out my meals for the entire day, experimenting by adding and removing foods that I could choose until I have a good balance. You might want to choose foods that are higher in the nutrients you need to substitute for those that you perhaps fill up on but aren't as dense in those nutrients. Are you getting enough exercise to stimulate your appetite?

    It's good that you're aware of the problem and looking for a solution--that's progress in my book. I hope something you find here on SP will help.

    same here. my calorie intake is pretty low. i'm trying to get off my 2nd plateau. *sigh* when do i learn? i made a schedule for eating (even if i'm not hungry i have to eat something just so i could reach my daily caloric needs) i make a point to eat every 2-3 hours. started eating a lot of whole wheat bread. it makes me more energized :)

    i am one who believes in eating when hungry (not scheduled eating) several times a day and stopping before i'm works for me. maybe you can post your question on the community boards. i'm sure someone can give you guidance. emoticon
