It starts today

I know I can live a healthy lifestyle. I've done it before. I need to do it again.

I have become squishy and uncomfortable. While working my way through nursing school I ate on the run, stressed, didn't get enough sleep, and rarely exercised.

Now that school is completed I need to get into a routine. I need to find a job, get my excess weight off, get in shape, and look like a healthy person. If I'm going to expect patients to listen to me when I tell them what they need to do to take proper care of themselves I need to look the part.

So today it needs to start. I have purchased some motivational books and a journal, joined, and made the commitment to become the person I want to be.

For Christmas I am giving myself a new person. I think that is a gift my family will like too.

I purchased a different book that I am reading right now. It is scripture based. I will definitely keep the Spark book in mind for my next reading. I'll put it on my perpetual wish list in the meantime in case my hubby wants to surprise me. Thanks for the recommendation.
