Ok so a few things are going on right now.
Mainly, I have gotten way off track again so this weekend, I'm working on getting back on track. There's a 90 day weight loss challenge at my gym and the prize for losing the most % of body weight is $10,000. 2nd and 3rd get $5,000 and $2,500 respectively. All participants also receive one month free membership for every 5 lbs lost so I figure it's worth a shot. I'm going to try really hard to do very well because I know if I stick with it the whole time I have a real chance of winning. The last winner lost 98 pounds so I know I have to really work hard. It starts on September 7 but they're weighing me on tuesday so I get an extra month. Of course I know I'm not the only one who's going tt get that advantage. They probably do it for everyone just to give people a good start and to make them feel good about it. I bought some training sessions and I will be doing half an hour 2x a week for the duration of the competition, as well the usual martial 2x and dancing 1x. I will also be trying to include the swimming whenever I have the energy and time. I will be cutting back my daily calorie range to 1200 - 1500 calories per day. I will be doing a lot searching the net this weekend, especially on spark, and I will be cleaning out my kitchen. I'm getting rid of all unhealthy food and finding recipes to make ahead of time so I have no excuse not to eat at home and healthy, it will be done already ^_^ I'll make big batches and freeze it in individual servings so I can just mic it and I'm good. Cooking won't be an excuse for me anymore. I've already started making breakfasts that way just this week so I'm off to a good start. I'm going to the dollar store to buy a whole bunch of containers to freeze all my single meals in. I will blog several times a week with an update on how I'm doing with the competition and I ask for everyone's support. I have 10,000 more reasons to do well this time but I know it's going to be hard.
If I win one of the top 3 prizes I'm not sure what I'll do with it all. I'll definitely pay off some bills and use some for more dance lessons, new clothes for sure lol. Maybe an HD tv, maybe not. I'm going to decide on a few things I want to do with the money so I have specific things in mind to motivate me and I will be making a motivational poster or something to put up at home to keep me going strong.
I start tuesday night after my weigh-in and I'm getting impatient for it to start already. I'm going to drink as much water as I can before they weigh me for a temporary gain lol, then at the end I'll try and get my weigh-in to be in the morning so I can have a slight advantage lol. I'm sure others will be doing the same but not everyone will think of it ^_^ My family is going to support me with this as well, and my mom has graciously agreed to pay for my kitchen overhaul lol, with the condition that if I win, I pay her back.
Work is going well, though a bit stressful. They've given me an entire tower to do. As a student, I've only been doing little bits here and there but now I'm going to do a whole guyed tower by myself. Of course, I'll have help, they know I don't really know what I'm doing, but still, it's exciting and stressful at the same time lol.
