Day 3 ... well half way through it

WoW! I just had a huge wake up call! This tracking my food, and more than just my calories, just completely opened my eyes! I was looking for a snack to take back to work with me for this afternoon and I decided on fat-free pretzels. One of my favorite things to snack on before would be pretzels mixed with doritos. As I was putting my pretzels in a baggy I thought well let me just look at what I WOULD be eating if I weren't trying to change my eating habits..... I was SHOCKED! 11 doritos alone are 150 calories and 8 grams of fat... FOR ELEVEN CHIPS! I've been eating these things all my life and I'm pretty sure 11 of them would never even touch my hunger... I'm kinda irritated that I've spent my life eating stuff like this! Ugh! I'd rather have veggies and dip any day, but sometimes it's just easier to buy a bag of chips and be done with it... welll no more! I also see why obesity is so frequent within young children. I work at a summer day program at a local elementary school and these kids bring JUNK for their lunch and 2 snacks everyday! I know they are growing kids, but seriously... is this junk helping them??? AHHHHHHHH! haha... okay I'm done venting now.
