Been a horrible, no good, very bad week

Wednesday, July 28, 2010

This is the week of hell. Started off with every single bill being due on the same day. So, 1 small paycheck had to cover 4 pretty large bills. Now there is very little to cover the next 1.5 weeks until the next small paycheck.
Next, my kids bike got stolen. Called the cops, but since we didn't have the serial number written down, they can't do a darn thing. His name is all over the bike, but nothing they can do. Didn't even bother to take a report.
Then, stung by a wasp. I am allergic, but have had fairly mild reactions the past few years. Well, not this time. My leg swelled, itched, nice and red. It is now 5 days later and you can still see an huge bruise like area on the leg. At least it isn't itching anymore.
Now, if that isn't enough, my microwave decided to stop working last night. Of course, since I paid all those bills, there is no money to get a new one right now. So, I am stuck cooking the old fashioned way until I get my next check.
Here's hoping that next week will improve.

I'm not letting it get me too down. I "vented" to my dad last night and even though I told him I would handle it, I am kind of hoping he shows up with a new microwave for me. Sad, as old as I am and I still want mom and dad to rescue me.

I'm sorry you have had such a bad week. It seems when it rains it pours . Hey, it can only get better. Stay focused on what is important.

Hang in there! Remind yourself that this is temporary. We may not have much control over life, but we do have some control over our attitudes. So, hang in there. Good luck! emoticon
