I was browsing Wal-Mart yesterday and wandered over to their little fitness section. I noticed that they had a bunch of Jillian Michael's DVDs and for a lot cheaper than what I paid for 30 Day Shred at Target. My partner and I checked them all out and decided to get the "No More Trouble Zones" DVD. We already run 3 times a week, so we weren't looking for a cardio-heavy routine. We really are just looking for a way to incorporate more strength and cross-training into our fitness regime. We aren't much into simple strength with machines or free weights because, well, its kinda boring. We wanted something that is both more challenging and more interesting. Plus we both love interval training because it really gets the heart pumping!
Right now we're still sorting everything out, but by next week we're hoping to have a new and improved training schedule, incorporating both the running program and the DVDs. I am really excited!!
I was so not a Jillian fan from Biggest Loser but I got a couple of her DVDs to try and was amazed at how encouraging she was. I love her on my DVDs. I hope you find the "No More Trouble Zones" DVD as much fun and as challenging as the ones I have. Good luck!
