I did not ride today, had to give my legs a small break. I was reminded by one of my BFF's that I can't over do it either and that it's good to give the muscles a break. I walked my dog Rusty like I always do in the morning and I mapped it. To my surprise my dog route is about 0.77 mile ! I usually walk him 3 times a day and had to extend it a block to meet my goal of 10,000 steps daily.
I tried to do some of the workouts on the Wii and it was ok, I didn't get a great workout but I will stick with the Jillian Micheal's Wii workout I have. I'm happy that I didn't allow the excuse of I'm not riding today so I need a break from any physical activity, deter me from my goal. I am focused - - - - I will continue to strive for my goal no matter how long it takes - - - all it takes is persistence!
