Sunday and Monday combined

Sunday was another good day of nutrition and fitness was all about cleaning and getting ready to move our daughter home from college. It took my husband and I two hours to really clean her room out and make room in the basement for all of her things from the house she lived in. It is not that we do not clean, it just was not a priority until she was moving home.
I feel good the last 5 days I have been on prednisone and they say it makes you want to eat everything in sight. The eating is true except I chose to reach for the fresh vegetables and fruit. I have eaten tomatoes, carrots, celery, cucumbers, lots of water (for me), watermelon, and strawberries.
It does the job.
Monday, July 26
Today I went back to work after being on vacation, and I packed my lunch with green beans, cucumbers, carrots, tomatoes, low fat yogurt with granola, blueberry flax muffin, turkey on thin whole wheat sandwich, and 1 Tbsp. roasted garlic and chive humus. I was stuffed throughout the day.
I worked hard tonite with my trainer 60 minutes of circuit training with my trainer and a 15 minute walk. It was wonderful.
On Wednesday last week, I decided to write my health goals down and post them on the refrigerator. I read them every morning and every time I go to the refrigerator and then at bedtime. Why bedtime? To have those goals embedded in my brain so I wake up with the right attitude. This has worked for me.
So far so good!
