My Goal for the Rest of 2010 - August - December

OK, to all of my spark friends and all you other sparkies out there I need your help. I want to reach my goal by the end of this year (160 pounds). I need to lose another 30 pounds to reach my goal. It has taken me a year to lose the first 30 pounds. I want to lose the last 30 pounds in 5 months so I really have my work cut out for me but I know I can do it, with your help. Starting August 1st, I need to lose an average of 1.5 pounds per week to reach my goal.

Here's your part: check in on my progress from time to time, email me, send me goodies, ask where my blogs are so you can hold me accountable, encourage me, or whatever it takes. Just please don't leave me hanging, I need your help to accomplish my goal. Will you help me?

    I'll check you as a friend to keep track of you. I think you can do that. I'm on a team now that started 7/12/10 to lose 20 lbs by 9/30/10. We are all confident on doing that. So you should lose 30 in 5 months.
    I plan on losing 55 by Jan 1, 2011. Want to be under 200. I lose 2 or 3 lbs a week. I exercise a lot. I keep my calories at 1000, a day. I feel good, have lots of energy. Try to get lots of protein. I sleep 7 or 8 hours a night.

    I will do my best to keep checking up on you, and I appreciate any support you can return. When school starts, I am concerned that I will lose my motivation, as time to blog and chat, etc. will decrease somewhat. I have 2 more pounds to this goal, so in the next couple of weeks I need to decide on the next goal. I need small goals, or else I will quit too easily.

    I will keep up with you if you keep after me too!

    My goal for 2010 is to finish 2 half marathons, and volunteer at a third.

    I would also like to find a full marathon to try next year.

    Hey, I'm fine with that! I ask the same in return. :-) I have about 40 more lbs to lose myself and I would LOVE IT if I could lose at least 2 lbs each week. Anything less than that and I'll be depressed and go into sabotage mode. Goal #2, walk 4-6 miles every day... and Goal #3 Eat at least 5 times everyday. I think I have a slow metabolism and I need to rev it up by eating..not starving!! So, I'll check on you and if you can check on me, that would be fabulous! :-) I'll friend you right now... emoticon emoticon emoticon
