Haha! Thanks for the shoutout and I'm glad to have inspired you! :D
I had a lot of issues with acne up until I had my daughter, so i believe that for me it is hormonally related. I'm not sure how that helps you...lol. I definitely used to have problems with stress related acne, and for that reason I started using a facial scrub that I think is nuetrogena and is made to deal directly with stress acne. I've loved that cleanser even though I can't say for sure if it's had a real impact or if I've just had a different balance of hormones that has kept the acne at bay. I mean every once in a while I get a random zit, but it is SOO much better than it used to be. So this is a sort of obvious tip, but make sure that if you've just worked out that you don't put off showering. I tend to get zits on my back and shoulders if I keep a sports bra on too long after a workout and I'm sure that if you don't clean your face after sweating a bunch the same rule applies! All it takes is an hour for me and I can have a breakout on my back.
Anyway...great blog and very organized! emoticon

I have never really had much of an issue with acne (thank goodness) but my cousin who struggled for years and years, bought proactive, and it really cleared his skin. I hope it works as well for you.

Whereas I don't have acne, I have psoriasis... and I can get it worse when stressed.. it manifests on my eyelids when its at its worst, and I can't cover that with make up.. so I know what you mean about being self conscious.. and having your body be effected by mental health.

I can relate to you also with sharing the apartment with your boyfriend.. when new to this, it can be hard and great... you find things about each other that you didn't notice before.. lol

Good luck, life throws you punches.. keep ducking!
