I feel like such a bad Sparker Friend. emoticon

It seems like June and July have gone by and I barely have time to quickly check out Spark (on the good days, on the busier days don't even make it to the site)... yikes.

June was Full of accomplishing fitness goals! so I am VERY excited about that. I promised I was going to post a half marathon report and haven't done that yet, I am thinking later today or tomorrow.

SOOOOOO where have I been:
Completed 65 mile bike ride in Vancouver Island!
The next weekend was my first 10K
Weekend after that was my first Half Marathon!!!
The next weekned was July already!

Went on a road trip 7/2 - 7/6 in British Columbia: Vancouver, Whistler, Pemberton, headed East to Banff National Park... hiked, walked, camped, hiked, and had lots of fun! (I will post some pics! it was GORGEOUS!)
The following weekend, my MIL wanted to take us to the Gulf Islands before we move across the country, so we said OK. Spend the weekend hiking and kayaking!
The next weekend, well that was this last weekend and we basically packed, packed and packed to be ready for our move NEXT weekend 7/23...

When I was not busy on the weekend I was trying to stay organized (packing wise) and of course work work work, it has been extremelly busy, but the busy time should soon be over... or so I hope.

Even though we move our stuff into a truck on 7/23, I won't make it to our new apartment in Raleigh until the end of August. Why? After the packing/moving, I am heading to Portland, OR for work 2 weeks then, the plan is to go to 2 Friend's weddings in Mexico, and spend about a week there and a week and a half at my parent's in San Antonio.

So, I haven't fallen off the face of the Earth... I am just trying to stay afloat, keep exercising and well pack. Needless to say, my nutrition needs some major improvement.

I will leave you with some pics from the LONG bike ride that I still can't believe I completed!!!
Before getting on the ferry

I actually liked this pic, thought it wouldn't look good, but Hey- we are improving!

Stretching on the ferry ride back :)

Have a great Monday!!!!

Love that you're keeping so busy, and so ACTIVE, and these are all good, positive (if not stressful things, like the move prep!). You are good SparkFriend, showing the rest of us how you can get it done and stay fit! So glad to see you here, and look forward to hearing how things go. Enjoy all the summer has to offer, enjoy your additional travels, and good luck as you prepare to migrate south. I'll be thinking of you, trying to catch up (half marathon... how much do you rock!?)!

Staying organized while trying to pack and getting in plenty of exercise. You are my hero. Keep up the amazing work and I'm glad to hear you are doing well.

I've been to Raleigh a couple of times and it's gorgeous, I think you'll like it there.

    Good luck with the move!
