I soooo didn't want to run last night. Between staying out too late and waking up too early, I hadn't gotten much sleep over the weekend. And I worked my bum off helping a friend move. I thought about calling that my exercise for the day and skip my scheduled 4 mi run.

I stuck with it, though, and decided to run anyway. I ended up running 6.25 miles (a hair over 10K)! My time was atrocious at around 77 minutes -- guessing at that based on the clock when I left and got back, since I didn't take my stopwatch. Regardless, that was over an hour of straight jogging!

A month ago I barely got out 5k. Two months ago, I barely got out half a mile. And now I ran 10k! And I felt that I could probably have hit 7 mi but decided to call it a night. Didn't want to push too hard and hurt myself. I'm still utterly amazed at all this! I'm pushing through by leaps and bounds... at this pace I won't have any problem at all completing the half marathon in November!

I love running, it helps me to free my mind of all the stress and clutter going on in there.
