Back to normal!

The week in Italy was exhausting! I was still standing on top of the plane steps when it hit me - a wall of heat engulfing me. Within a few hours I had to use my asthma pump as I couldn't breathe.
I tried walking around in the days I was there but I couldn't manage much. My dad was measuring his pressure, that he needs to do regularly to check his medication is ok, when I borrowed the little machine and took mine too. When I saw the reading I told him he should take the thing back to the shop to have it fixed 'cos there was no way my pressure could be that low. Except it was, and it showed!
My sensible nutrition went completely out of the window as everybody was cooking my favourite stuff. Luckily it seems no big damage was done as my weight has stayed the same, probably 'cos of all the drinking and sweating I did (I must have been on at least 5 litres of water a day).
Of course I got what I was expecting from most people: "stop losing weight now, you already look too thin" and all that crap. Never mind that I'm technically still overweight, everybody knows better. Some times I wish they put a sock in it. Thankfully there was a friend who joined me for a few days who was just supportive and balanced it out :)
One of my neighbours here in London got it right: she told me that a lot of people can't go past the fact that I'm doing something for myself and it's working. Maybe they feel threatened 'cos they see something new that they're unfamiliar with, maybe they feel jealous 'cos they could do with losing some weight but don't get round to doing it. But whatever the reason, it's their problem and not mine, so I'll have to learn to tune them out.
