Day 3, Posting all Food On Spark

Boy, I was eating more calories than I realize. It is a wakeup call to get on track with my food.

I went over by about 125 calories today. I guess that's not too bad, considering how many more calories I must have been taking in before tracking everything.

Yeah, I'm hungry-not starving, but hungry.

It's going to be a long 3 weeks. I hope it gets easier to eat less as time goes by.

Nutritionist at my clinic says not to be truly obsessive, but to check my ingestion details twice a week or so, and more often as necessary -- she is slim as a bluebell herself, yet does understand how easy it is for us to drift off plan UNAWARES and coast back into The Pudgies!

    After losing about 20 lbs with tracking calories on SP, I thought I could do this alone. I gained back about 10 over the past year, and I'm on Day 8 of recommitting myself to tracking my calories after each meal/snack. Like you, I was vastly underestimating what I was eating...all those little trips to the fridge and pantry definitely added up.

    I love your race finish photos, btw! I finished my first half marathon (had to walk about 3 miles of it) in May and training for one in the fall--hopefully!
