Halfway through week 3! Very exciting. This morning's run was pretty good. I felt a tad more tired than W3D1 but it wasn't awful. Last week I really focused on increasing my turnover rate (faster feet) but this week I wanted to concentrate on using that rhythm with longer strides. I still run very slow, but I know my pace is gradually getting quicker and more consistent. Finding that rhythm is so helpful because once I "settle in" to a nice pace, its easier for me to run. I also tried to push through the last interval with a lot more power. Its hard, but I figure if I push myself NOW, it will improve my fitness and make it easier for next time. Overall, I'd say it was a successful run!
