Healthy lifestyle vs. diet

I was just talking to another sparkie today. She made me realize the difference in thinking I've undergone with slow and steady wins the weight loss. What I realized with all the previous times were diets: changing too many things at one time and doing it quickly. Now, with help from SP and many other places, I've learned to work on just one thing (i.e. no breads, chips, crackers, sweets in house) and PRACTICE until it becomes a solid habit. That is a healthy lifestyle instead of my previous failed diets. In fact, I'm pleased to say that I'm down 10kg and 17cm waist without going back up, It's been slow but it's finally noticeable changes with lots of little things I've learned:)

I'm always learning but this time I've learned to do what works best for me, not overwhelm myself with trying to fix it all. I guess that's the difference between a diet and a lifestyle:)
