Everything does not have to be a 10.

This morning I went to an overeaters anonymous meeting and found myself telling someone that the meeting was OK, not great, just OK. Then I heard what I was saying. I then had to tell myself that EVERYTHING does not have to be a 10. My food doesn't have to be a 10 all the time and life certainly is not always a 10. I think I need to take a close look at my expectations. Having that "all or nothing" thinking leads to a lot of disappointments in life.
So, with that being said I'll change my first sentene to "I went to an OA meeting this morning and it was a good meeting. It was good to be around some other people who understand compulsive overeating".
