Beautiful Day!

It is almost 80 degrees F here today! I am trying to take it in so that I can remember this feeling in January when it is -40 degrees F! Having lived most of my life in weather like this, I welcome it - but, hubby is miserable :(. He prefers the cold - yuck!

Stuck to the food plan all day yesterday. Hubby made dinner (Tilipia, potato and broccoli with parmasean cheese topping) and we set out the food for lunch today. It is very very strange for me to give up so much control. Hubby has taken over grocery shopping and cooking (Did I mention he is a Saint?) But I recognize I have a problem with food that goes beyond the occasional splurge. So, the more I limit my access to it right now, the better. The breakfast lunch and dinner choices on the SP food plan are actually very good and easy to follow. I love how they have the food already listed for you in the nutrition area so that all you have to do is check them off. They are really well balanced for protein, carbs, and fat too. Yesterday, I skipped the hummus snack because I am trying to stay around 1300 calories and I didn't get all the fat in. Seems weird to be deficient in fat in my diet! But, I did get ALL my protien in, which is typically hard for me. My pie chart usually consists of a huge slice of carbs and a sliver of protein haha.

Can't wait for camping this weekend - Loving this weather!!!!!!

    Doing great! Glad you can maximize the meal plan and DH is helping make it happen! Over time as you get into healthier habits you can add more food prep but I think it is wise to make the most of your options right now to give yourself space and learn and find success.
