W2D3 complete!

Week 2 is DONE! Yay!

This morning's run was tough- my body felt kinda sluggish and I got my first side stitch (since starting C25k, that is) which was annoying. But I've read an article about deep breathing when that happens, so I was able to push through it. Also, I normally have a Clif organic Z Bar before I go, but we ran out...so I grabbed some trail mix, but it just didn't cut it. Definitely going to the store for some more Z Bars today!

I'm super proud of myself for finishing the second week! Week 3 is a little intimidating because it jumps from 90 seconds of running to a full 3 minutes, but I know I can do it!!! emoticon

    Great job! I've never tried the "Z" bar. I like the other Clif bars, so I will have to look in to those! Have a great week 3!

    Congratulations!!

    I just graduated C25K, and I have never, ever been athletic, much less a runner, in my life! My miles take about 15 minutes, but I'm working up to the speed. Just focus on finishing the time, and you will SHINE, I know it!

    I hate those side stitches! I also heard that if you vary your breathing...like instead of inhaling every second step you inhale every third step, that helps. It seems to work for me!
    I went from NEVER running in my life to being able to run two miles without stopping (which takes me about 25 minutes) in about one month, so I'm SURE you can do it!
