I Can Only Blame My Period for so Long!

But then why have I fallen so far off of the bandwagon? I was frustrated about having gotten hungry after eating a very balanced dinner last night and ate much more because of it and feel sick today. I know what went wrong - I went too long between meals, and it threw my body off. But am I really that sensitive? Or is it all in my head?
Anyways, I'm going to try to destress, be thankful, continue to remind myself that eating compulsively only makes things worse.
Must treat myself kindly, be grateful, be happy, and take care of myself.

    Hmm, glad to know it's not just me! Well, I mean, I don't wish these issues on anyone, but sometimes I really feel crazy. Everyone else seems to eat whatever they want (though they don't all look so great either). I really don't like all the micromanaging of my diet. I know some people really get a kick out of it, but I want my control freak days to be over.

    That said, I'm going to now prepare some kohlrabi sticks and tehina to take with me on my trip to the airport tomorrow for a welcoming ceremony. I'll also pack a healthy granola bar and some hard-boiled eggs I made yesterday.

    There will be a big dinner with a major donor Thursday night w/open bar. I'll have to watch it there for several reasons. Going out to a friend's house for dinner Friday night and my roommate and I are hosting a big meal on Saturday. Those are my challenges for the upcoming week, but I have several levels of control for all of them.

    I would say that yes, maybe you are that sensitive right now. I know that when I was getting used to eating regularly and in a healthy manner, even little changes (like staying hungry for too long or things like that) really affected me. And while it is possible that it is in your head, until I learned the difference, I had to assume it was my body needing something because I was so out of tune with it.
