Love and Fireworks!

Sunday, July 04, 2010

This is my first vlog so there's no sound effect or music for now! Just turn off the sound and watch the fireworks speak for themselves... The show lasted 30 minutes and we watched it from the Old Port's closest pier actually 5 miles (8 km) away.

The 2nd half of this vlog is the most spectacular. I took it with my trusty little digital camera (a Canon PowerShot, 7.1 megapixels) and I was trying to hold it steady (no tripod, sorry!) hence the shaking (no, I wasn't on a boat and there was no earthquake though we had one last June 21rst, 5 on the Richter scale! emoticon).

If you wonder about this vlog's title it's actually the same as my July 4th's blog about my 34th wedding anniversary (the "Love" part of the title) on July 3rd and Montreal's (Canada) International "Fireworks " (second part of the title) competition with Portugal competing that evening. A truly romantic and beautiful ending to a wonderful anniversary celebration. emoticon emoticon

My husband, Ian, and I, right before the fireworks on July 3rd.

So now here's a little bit of this magical evening...

    Hi BRIGITTE20;

    Stopped by to wish you a Very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year as I watch your 4th of July fire works. Very pretty and it was nice because I didn't seen any. Try and stay focused on you healthy eating, exercise so you can reach your goal. God bless you and remember what Christmas is about. Hope you get to spend time with family and friends. Love the Spark people.
