First pound down!!

While I'm not religiously tracking everything that goes into my mouth, I am making a point of trying to be more conscious of what I am eating. Apparently it pays off. I'm down one pound.
I'm also paying more attention to the nutrition labels on foods that I buy, trying to make sure that I am getting the kinds of things I want (like more protein) and less of the things I need (like fat). So far it also seems to be working. My food doesn't suck, I tend to feel mostly full after eating and I'm getting a much better idea of what portion sizes look like.
Who knew? lol
